Botulinum toxin is a widely used injectable treatment that temporarily relaxes facial muscles to soften fine lines and wrinkles. At Phases, we offer multiple FDA-approved formulations—including Botox®, Dysport®, and Daxxify®—to suit your individual needs. Injections are administered with a fine needle directly into the targeted muscles, and there’s no downtime, so you can resume normal activities immediately.

In addition to cosmetic benefits, botulinum toxin can also be used for therapeutic purposes, such as reducing muscle tension and treating certain medical conditions.

Aside from fine lines and wrinkles, botulinum toxin has other uses.

  • Lip Flip

A lip flip is a quick, non-surgical treatment that gives the appearance of fuller, more defined lips. Using a small amount of botulinum toxin, your provider injects precise points near the corners and edges of the upper lip. This relaxes the surrounding muscles, allowing the lip to subtly “flip” upward—enhancing shape and visibility without adding volume.

Results are natural-looking, typically appear within 3–5 days, and last about 8-12 weeks. It’s a great option for clients seeking a more delicate enhancement or those not yet ready for dermal fillers.

  • Masseter Relaxer

Botulinum toxin injections into the masseter muscle offer both functional and aesthetic benefits. This treatment is commonly used to manage teeth grinding (bruxism), reduce jaw tension and clenching, relieve related headaches, and ease facial pain. Aesthetically, it can slim the lower face, soften a square jawline, and create a more balanced, contoured facial shape.

Results typically appear within 1–2 weeks and last 3–6 months, making it a highly effective option for both relief and refinement.

  • Nefertiti Lift

The Nefertiti Lift is a non-surgical treatment that uses botulinum toxin to relax the platysma muscles along the neck and jawline. By softening muscle tension in this area, the treatment subtly lifts the jaw, smooths neck bands, and creates a more defined, elongated neck and a contoured lower face—mimicking the elegant profile of Queen Nefertiti.

Results typically appear within 1–2 weeks and last up to 3–4 months, offering a graceful enhancement with no downtime.

  • Trapezius Relaxer

Botulinum toxin injections in the trapezius muscles—commonly known as “trap tox”—are used to relieve tension in the neck and upper back, reduce the frequency and intensity of tension headaches, and create a slimmer, more elongated shoulder and neck silhouette.

This treatment not only offers therapeutic relief from muscle tightness and discomfort but also delivers subtle aesthetic benefits, often referred to as the “ballerina neck” effect. Results typically appear within 7–14 days and can last 3–5 months.

  • Hyperhidrosis

Botulinum toxin injections are an effective treatment for hyperhidrosis, or excessive sweating. When injected into areas such as the underarms, hands, feet, or face, the botulinum toxin temporarily blocks the nerve signals that stimulate overactive sweat glands. As a result, sweating is significantly reduced or stopped in the treated area.

Relief typically begins within a few days and can last 4–6 months or longer, offering a safe, non-surgical solution for those struggling with unwanted or disruptive sweating.

  • Microtox or Tox Facial

Superficial botulinum toxin—often called microtox or skin botox—is injected just beneath the surface of the skin to target a range of skin concerns. This technique helps refine skin texture, reduce fine lines, minimize enlarged pores, and control excess oil, sebum production, and facial sweating. It can also calm flushing, facial redness, hot flashes, and symptoms associated with rosacea.

The result is smoother, clearer, and more balanced skin with a refreshed, airbrushed appearance—without freezing facial expression.
